DALTON – Esther F. Graber, age 88, passed away on January 31, 2024.
Born in Baughman Twp. on April 23, 1935 to the late Ray and Fannie (Plank) Shisler, she was a life resident of Dalton. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, she had worked for four years at the Dalton Dariette and was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle in Massillon.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother, Laura Shisler, husband, Paul Graber Jr.; brothers, Donald and Gene Shisler; sister, Betty (Paul) Brillhart, brother-in-law, Buster Wade; sister-in-law, Letha Shisler. Esther is survived by son, Alan (Joann) Graber; daughter, Anne (Thomas) Strange all of Dalton; grandchildren, Adam and Dustin Graber, Michael (Beth) Berkey, Brandon Berkey, Rachel Strange (Adam) Cole, Sam (Marissa) Strange; great grandchildren, Jaden, Audrey, Brandon, Brooke, Brant, Nevaeh, Owen; sisters, Mabel Wade of Apple Creek, Pauline Gordon of Akron; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held by the family at Dalton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a hospice of one’s choice. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
