Ethel I. Wade

DOYLESTOWN – Ethel I. Wade, age 91, passed away on February 11, 2025.

She was born on March 19, 1933 to the late Joseph and Alice (Fritzinger) Hummel and was a life resident of Doylestown.  Ethel retired from Autumnwood Nursing Home and was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church in Wadsworth.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Chad Ball; second husband, Paul Wade; son, Robert Ball and sister Janice Hummel. Ethel is survived by her granddaughter, Rebecca (Kevin) Tichon of Norton; grandson, Robert Ball of Norton; great grandchildren, Grace, Allison, and Logan Tichon; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230.  Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial to take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
