Francis "Frank" J. Zuppert

CLEVELAND – Francis J. “Frank” Zuppert, age 94, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024.

Born on December 4, 1929 in Tremont, PA, he was a resident of Wadsworth for 13 years and was previously a longtime resident of Cleveland.  Frank retired from the Chrysler Corporation, Twinsburg stamping plant after 30 years of service as a tool & die maker.  A veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving stateside during the Korean War, he enjoyed baseball, football, bowling, horse racing, golfing, and spending time with family.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret and Horace Zuppert; wife, Marilyn; son, Thomas J. Zuppert, his loving companion, Rita Morris, he is survived by his son, David Zuppert of Doylestown, OH; daughter, Lisa Zuppert of University Heights, OH; grandchildren, Spencer, Sarah, and Thomas Jr.; other family and friends.  He will be forever remembered for his charming personality and ability to make friends.  The family would like to thank all who have touched him and would especially like to recognize the Liberty Residence staff for their kindness and care.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery (Section 63), 12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44106. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
