Frank E. McEndree

DOYLESTOWN – Frank E. McEndree, age 78, passed away on April 2, 2021.

Born in Barnesville, OH on March 17, 1943 to the late Cecil L. and Mary C. (Trott) McEndree, he was a life resident of Doylestown.  Frank was a 1962 graduate of Doylestown High School and veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army.  He had worked for Galehouse Construction for 35 years as a brick layer and then was employed by the Village of Doylestown in the parks department until he retired in 2015.  A member of the Doylestown JC’s and the Doylestown American Legion Post #407, he enjoyed woodworking and making toys.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Tami O’Connor; brothers, Marvin “Mickey” (Barbara) McEndree, Vernon McEndree; sister-in-law, Marilyn McEndree; brothers-in-law, Omher MacManus, Charles Tamoney; nephews, Jeff White, Dan McEndree, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathy; son, Mark McEndree of Doylestown; daughter, Ann (Mustapha) McEndree-Mehar of London, England; grandchildren, William O’Connor (fiancé Haley Warner), Devanne O’Connor, Blake Schenk, Dania Mehar, Sohaib Mehar; son-in-law, Aaron Schenk; brothers, Melvin “Mel”, Roger (Margie), Bryan, Cecil G. (Marlene) all of Doylestown; sister-in-law, Nellie McEndree of AZ; brothers-in-law, John (Patricia) White, Jim (Marlene) White; sisters-in-law, Mary MacManus, Madeline Tamoney; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. (following covid-19 guidelines requiring facial coverings, social distancing, and limited numbers of guests in the facility) at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
