Frank P. Yandura Jr.

DOYLESTOWN, OH – Frank P. Yandura Jr., passed away on June 12, 2023 and is survived by his wife Kathy of 34 years.

Born in Harrisburg, PA on February 18, 1955 to the late Frank P. Sr. and Virginia (Gray) Yandura, Frank has been a resident of Doylestown for the past 11 years, previously living in Brookpark, OH.

He was a Cleveland Police Office of 5 years and a volunteer firefighter with the Brunswick Fire Department.  After moving to Orchard Park, NY he became an active member of Orchard Park Community Church.  He was on the building committee as co-chairperson, establishing fund raisers, and becoming a trustee among his other accomplishments. 

He joined the Patchin Fire Company in Boston, NY to later become Chief.  He established The Uniform Committee, EMS program and was a fire instructor for the county of Erie, NY.

He worked for Builders Square for many years as an assistant manager and trainer in 4 states.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Yandura; and sister, Angela Jackson. He is survived by his children of a previous marriage, Justin Lewis and Jillian (Matt) Swift; brother, Nelson Yandura of Lakewood; sisters, Tonie (Jeff) Zech of West Salem, Gayle Peterjohn of NC, Kaye (Mark) Trivisonno of Brunswick Hills; brother-in-law, Dennis Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at The Galaxy Restaurant, Cellar Room, 201 Park Centre Dr., Wadsworth, OH, 44281 from 1 to 6 p.m.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
