DOYLESTOWN – Gary J. O’Grizek, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2022.

Born on October 12, 1950 in Cleveland, OH, he was a resident of Doylestown for 22 years, previously of the Barberton / Akron area. Gary retired in 2012 from AT&T, formerly Ohio Bell, after 42 years of service. He attended the Chapel in Green and was a member of the Orrville Cycling Club where he had logged around 20,000 miles throughout the years riding his bicycle. Always having been an athletic person throughout his life, he was a true outdoorsman. Gary was an avid hiker, camper, fisherman, and kayaker, having traveled in Alaska, Canada, and the western United States.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol. He is survived by his daughter, Alison O’Grizek of Polk, OH; son, Joseph O’Grizek of Boston, MA; stepsons, Ian Kubilus of FL, Aaron (Diana) Kubilus of Mentor, OH; grandchildren, Jacob, Gianna, Aria; brothers, Dale (Sherry) O’Grizek of Parma, Bruce (Terri) O’Grizek of FL; sister, Paula Oravec of Lyndhurst, OH; niece, April Parsons; other family and many friends.
