DOYLESTOWN – Gerald R. Cline, age 89, passed away on September 27, 2024.
Born on September 16, 1935 in Woodsfield, OH to the late Delbert and Edith (Smith) Cline, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1964. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Gerald retired from Consolidated Freightways as a truck driver having driven from the time he got out of school. Gerald was a proud member of the Teamsters Local #24 and was an active member of the former Akron Baptist Temple and more recently Ambassador Baptist Church in Wadsworth.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Cline. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Mark) Krider of Cleveland, NC, Christian Cline of New Franklin, Vicki (Jack) Killough of Doylestown; grandchildren, Miles Killough (fiancé Mackenzie Blair), Paiton and Noah Roach, Elizabeth Cline, Ada Krider; special friend, Dolly Vargo, other family and friends.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials in Gerald's honor may be made to your local chapter of the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) or the Wounded Warrior Project. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
