WADSWORTH – Harvey W. “Boomer” Sumney III, age 57, passed away on January 22, 2023.
Born on July 30, 1965 in Butler, PA, he had been a resident of Wadsworth for 20 years, previously of Canton. Boomer was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and loved spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his father, Harvey W. Sumney Jr.; brother, Rich W. Sumney, and sisters, Sue A. Schafer and Dory J. Dull, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Charlotte (Helms) Sumney; children, Roslyn Sumney of Akron and Brayden Sumney of Westerville; grandson, Malikai William Anderson, on the way; mother, Edith Sumney of North Canton; sister, Kay L. Sumney of Massillon; brother, Todd E. Sumney of Canton; best friend, Dave Jett; other family and friends.
