Iris L. Yoder

DALTON – Iris L. Yoder, age 99, passed away on February 13, 2022.

Born on February 21, 1922 in Alliance, OH, she was a 1940 graduate of Dalton High School. A life resident of Dalton, Iris retired from Dr. Swogers office and had worked at various hospitals as a cook.  She also attended Omega Tabernacle.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline (Castle) Smith; husband, Paul in 1993; sister, Annetta Schopfer, she is survived by her daughters, Cyndee Gamery of Dalton, Linda Freeland of Allen, TX, Cheryl (Jim) Lee of Carrollton, TX; son, Wayne (Robin) Yoder of Chesterfield, VA; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; other family and friends.

A private service with interment at Dalton Cemetery will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elara Caring Hospice, 1530 W. Market St., Akron, OH, 44313.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
