AKRON – Jack W. Franks, age 65, passed away on June 15, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Jack was an avid Ohio State fan.
Born on April 24, 1955 in Warren, OH, he was a resident of Akron for 5 years, previously of Wadsworth and Doylestown. He had worked at Luke Engineering & Manufacturing Co. as a painter.
Preceded in death by his father, J. Wesley Franks; sister, Roseann Franks, he is survived by his daughter, Rachel Daniels of Florida; mother, Patty “Pat” Franks of Wadsworth; sisters, Kerri Franks of Wadsworth, Rosemary (Don) Petit, Rebecca (Ross) Mollohan, Ruth (Robert) McCulty, Krista (Tim) Longfellow all of Doylestown, OH, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Private services will be held by the family with inurnment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
