Jackie D. Rooks

NORTON – Jackie D. Rooks, age 57, passed away on July 30, 2022.

Born in Pikeville, KY to the late Eugene and Bonnie (Spears) Rooks, he was a resident of Norton for the past 10 years, previously of the Barberton / Akron area.  Jackie had worked for Pioneer Plastics and had previously done construction in TN, and warehousing in IN.  Jackie was a lover of British Comedies and was a master of his craft with crossword puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Adam “Dick”, Danny L., Harry D., and Kenneth; brother-in-law, Johnny Damron. He is survived by his sisters, Jane Damron of Norton, Mary Darlene Hitchings of Barberton; brother, Robert Rooks (Linda Gross); long time childhood friends, Kenny Stoll and Troy Shiflett; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
