APPLE CREEK – James L. Grove Sr., age 74, passed away on September 4, 2018.

Born on November 13, 1943 in Dover, OH to PerLee E. and Alice N. (Steinke) Grove, he was a resident of Apple Creek, previously of Dalton.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; son, James L. Jr.; brothers, Elmer Steinke and Clyde Grove; sisters, Armella Young, Catherine Sampsel, Nancy Clemens and Norma Locker. He is survived by his son, Scott A. Grove of Dalton; sister, Patricia (Jack) Kula of Brinkhaven, OH; brothers, PerLee Grove of Beach City, Melvin Grove of WV.
