DOYLESTOWN – James W. Ware, age 94, passed away on April 19, 2022.
Born on August 17, 1927 in Webster Springs, WV to the late William L. and V. Lyde (Skidmore) Ware, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1989, previously of North Ridgeville, and Elyria. A veteran of both WWII and the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army, James retired from Pfaudler Co. in 1978. He was a life member of both the Doylestown American Legion Post 407 and the V.F.W. Post 1079 in Elyria.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Opal in 2007; brother, William (Marge) Ware; sister in-law, Barbara Ware. James is survived by his son, J. Tom (Jean) Ware; grandson, Matthew Ware; granddaughter, Kate (Daniel) Ries all of Doylestown, OH; great grandchildren, Aaron, William, Noah, Owen; brother, Richard Ware of Aurora, CO; sister, Jackie (Fred) Krafft of Richwood, WV; other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of both the Doylestown Health Care Center and Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare, and Dr. Douglas Wenger for their compassionate care of James.
