James "Jim" M. Durbin

DOYLESTOWN – James M. “Jim” Durbin, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023.

Born on February 6, 1934 in Norton, OH to the late Ralph and Frances (Sapp) Durbin, he was a life resident of the Doylestown / Norton area.  Jim was owner and operator of Durbin Floors for over 40 years and attended Crossroads Community Church.  Alongside his late wife Faye, they were both dedicated to their family and avid fans of their grandchildren following them to all their sporting events.

Preceded in death by his wife, Faye D. Durbin; daughter, Tina Durbin; brothers, Dick and Dave Durbin; sisters, Anne Bush, and Ruth Doyle; he is survived by his children, Mike (Lynn) Durbin of Strasburg, Gary (Kelly) Durbin of Doylestown, Doug (Tina) Durbin of Doylestown, Pam (Jim) Goodwill of Holmesville, Penny Langguth of Doylestown; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; brothers, Dennis Durbin (Irene Rohr), Ralph (Patty) Durbin all of Doylestown; sister, Joan (Bob) Gallina of Minerva; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family wishes to thank Jim’s sister-in-law, Jerrie Whitehead for her loving and compassionate care of Jim over the past 4 ½ years.
