DALTON – Jane Rossiter, age 57, passed away on November 2, 2023.
Born on May 15, 1966 in Dalton to David L. and Emma R. (Poorman) Rossiter, she was a graduate of Dalton High School and was awarded a certificate for kindness. Jane worked for many years at Nick Amster Workshop in Wooster and was a member of Dalton Presbyterian Church.
Jane is preceded in death by her father, David L. Rossiter. She is survived by her mother, Emma R. Rossiter of Dalton; siblings, Ann (Steve) Rabatin of Apple Creek, Hank (Marilyn) Rossiter of Dalton, and Lee (Patti) Rossiter of Pinckney, MI. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and had many special friends including, Charles and Sallie Morton, Cheryl Phillips, the Donna Zuercher family, and Pastor Sally Fusek.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff at Shady Lawn who showed Jane their love every day in their care for her and also to the staff of Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare.
A celebration of life service will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Shady Lawn Health Care – Assisted Living Activities Room, 15028 Old Lincoln Way E., Dalton, 44618. Private interment to take place at Dalton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691or Mary Ellen’s Missions at Dalton Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 306, Dalton, OH 44618.
