Janice E. Phillips

WADSWORTH – Janice E. Phillips, age 79, passed away on June 14, 2020.

Born on August 10, 1940 to the late John and Justine (Elmert) Holb, she was a resident of Wadsworth for the past five years, previously of Doylestown, Akron, and Cuyahoga Falls.  Retiring from First Energy after many years of service, she loved to watch sports and do crossword puzzles.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donavon; brother, William; sisters, Annabelle, Joan, Carolyn;  she is survived by her step son, Terry Phillips; two step grandchildren; brothers, John (Sally) Holb, Robert (Marilyn) Holb; sisters, Marie (John) Ricks, Kathleen (Don) Turner, twin, Janet (Dallas) Holbert; niece and caregiver, Carol Balog; other nieces, nephews and family.

A private inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date.  Memorials in memory of Janice may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH, 44685.
