Joan F. Duncan

DOYLESTOWN – Joan F. Duncan, age 88, passed away on May 5, 2026.

She was born on December 6, 1937 in Barberton, OH to the late Duane and Ruth (Messner) Knecht.  Working together with her husband Ray for many years, they were co-owners of Eastern Pools.  Devoted to her family, she enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially at the private family getaway in southern Ohio.  She was a member of the former Doylestown Church of the Nazarene.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray T.; great grandson, Vincie; brothers, Duane (Edna) Knecht, Raymond (Laura) Knecht; sister, Carol (Roger) Waldern, she is survived by her children, Karen (Dale) Rhodes of Doylestown, Thomas (Pattie) Duncan of New Franklin, Keith (Donna) Duncan of Doylestown, Connie (Randy) Finney of Clinton, Monica (Doug) Quisenberry of Doylestown; grandchildren, Stacey (Lee) Hess, Amanda (Joe) Saunders, Eric (Lauren) Rhodes, Aaron Duncan, Justin Duncan, Seth (Molly) Duncan, Kristy (John) Mertic, Becca Duncan, Matt Boley, Brad (Becca) Boley, Steve (Jamie) Boley; 20 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Pastor Cary Duckett, officiating.  Burial to take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family may call on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
