John P. Augustine

DOYLESTOWN – John P. Augustine, age 77, passed away on July 21, 2022.

Born in Berea, OH to the late John F. and Marion (Lahl) Augustine, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1974.  Retiring from Chick Master Incubator Company in 2008, he enjoyed the outdoors while hunting and fishing and teaching hunter education.  John was a caring and devoted family man to his wife Susan, who was the love of his life, and two sons.  He was known for his quick wit and ornery personality.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan in 2003; sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Kramer, Adeline (Daniel) Prok; brother-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Fischer, he is survived by his sons, Matthew (Jeanette) Augustine of Medina, Mark (Jennifer) Augustine of MD; brother, Richard (Judy) Augustine of CO; sister, Margaret “Peg” Fischer of OH.
