DOYLESTOWN – John Job Romis, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024.
Born in Akron, OH on June 6, 1941 to the late John and Mary Romis, John was a graduate of Buchtel High School and retired from North Canton City Schools. A resident of Doylestown for over 50 years, he was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
One of Dad’s greatest joys was working around the house with our mom. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with a sense of togetherness and teamwork. Whether they were working on home improvement projects or tending to the yard, their bond was evident in every small effort they made together. Their love story was a beautiful testament to the power of partnership and devotion.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria; adored daughter, Christina Romis; and siblings, David, Jerry, Arlene, and Luke. John is survived by his children; Teresa (Jeff) Knisely of Lake Havasu, AZ, Marisol (Mark) Storad of Doylestown, Mariana (Jim) Alexander of Doylestown, and John (Scott) Romis of New York, NY; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: Mark (Jane), Jill (Ben), Michael (Kenzie), Maegan, Samantha, Olivia, Marissa, Julia, Hayden, Walton, Carlyle, and Clark; brother, Dennis (Grace) Romis of Medina; sister, Suzanne Sullivan of Akron; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
As we say goodbye, we find comfort knowing that Dad is now embracing Mom again, watching over us with all the love he had for our family. We miss him deeply but are grateful for his unconditional love and beautiful memories we shared. Rest in Peace, Dad.
