DOYLESTOWN – John V. Weaver, age 91, passed away on November 12, 2021.
Born on February 13, 1930 in Akron, OH to the late Roy W. and Auriel R. (Pfeiffer) Weaver, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1995, previously of Kenmore, OH. John was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Air Force. An avid outdoors man, he loved fishing, boating, archery, flying model airplanes, traveling, and camping with his wife in their Scotty Camper. He was a blacksmith with a passion for Black Powder firearms. He enjoyed shooting and building both long guns and pistols.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel V. Weaver; brother, Robert Weaver. John is survived by his daughter, Jacque (Ron) Blue of Doylestown; son, Bob (Kathryn) Weaver of Wadsworth.
The family would like to thank family friend Sarah Tait for her love and friendship shown towards John.
