Joseph E. Sanders

DOYLESTOWN – Joseph E. Sanders, age 81, passed away on October 30, 2025.

Born on September 3, 1944 in Akron to the late Atlas E. and Judith F. (Dunford) Sanders, he was a graduate of Akron Garfield High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron.  Growing up in Firestone Park, he was a resident of Doylestown for 45 years, previously of Portage Lakes. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Joseph was the owner of Sans Piano Tuning.  He had attended Zion Lutheran Church and also Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Joseph was a member of the Doylestown Lions Club and had coached youth football.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Loretta; son, Andrew Joseph Sanders of Bath; twin grandsons, Paxton and Aidon; sisters-in-law, Marianne Manspeaker, Pam Moran; brother-in-law, Mike (Lori) Glisic, several nieces and nephews; his loving K-9’s BB and Baxter; other family and friends.
