Julia G. Boychi

DOYLESTOWN – Julia G. Boychi, age 101, passed away on January 8, 2024.

Born on November 27, 1922 to the late Steve and Louise (Weber) Bogos in Akron, OH, Julia graduated from Copley High School. A resident of Doylestown for 58 years, she was a member of Easton United Methodist Church. Julia loved flowers, gardening, photography, macramé, and Hungarian cooking. Cream sticks and Klondike Bars were among her favorite sweets.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William D. Boychi; sisters, Louise Seaman and Elsie Trent. Julia is survived by her children, Claudia L. (John) Bailey, William M. “Bill” Boychi, Steven A. (Theresa) Boychi, and Ronald W. Boychi; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Pastor Julia Wertz officiating. Calling hours will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.
