Justine A. Borton

Dalton – Justine A. Borton, age 84, passed away on August 18, 2021 surrounded by family.

Born on October 28, 1936 in Quaker City, OH to the late Emile and Mary Catherine (Anderson) Boulet, she was a 6-year resident of Brewster, previously of Dalton (Sugarcreek Twp.) for 60 years. Justine had worked for Dutch Country Apple Dumplings in Orrville and also at R.W. Screw in Massillon. A member of the Massillon Baptist Temple, she was an avid reader, and loved spending time with her family.

Justine is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Borton Sr.; son, Joseph J. Borton Jr.; brothers, Richard, Gary and David Lee Boulet; brother in-law, Charles “Kenny” Benson. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Terry) Smith of Brewster, Lisa (John) Patterson of Massillon; grandchildren, Jeremy (Danielle) Smith, Joshua (Melissa) Smith, Sarah (Dave) Birchfield, Craig (Dawn) Lint, Rebecca Borton, Brandon Devore, Megan Devore (Cody Schutt), Hunter Schumaker (Abby Romans); 18 great grandchildren; brother, Keith Boulet of Lore City, OH; sister, Carole Benson of S. Canton, OH; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11 am at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, 44618 with Pastor Cecil Thayer, officiating.
