Kandis M. Frisby

DOYLESTOWN – Kandis M. Frisby, age 74, passed away on December 23, 2023.

Born on August 10, 1949 in Akron, OH to the late Leroy and Pauline (Starcher) Henry, she was a lifelong resident of Doylestown.  Kandis was a 1967 graduate of Doylestown High School and in her younger years had worked for Pacific Bell and Ohio Bell before devoting her life to being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a passion for horses but loved all animals.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Eldred “Ed” Combs; sister, Kaylyn McAlister; brother, Gary Henry.  She is survived by her husband of 57 ½ years Donald; daughter, Brandi (Chris) Randles of Wadsworth; son, Parris (Sherry) Frisby of Copley; grandchildren, Samantha Rister, Zachary Randles, Ian Randles, Sebastian Frisby, Alexander Frisby; sister, Cheryl Shephard of Barberton; brother-in-law, John McAlister of Scio, OH; sisters-in-law, Betsy Henry of Medina, Dixie Davis of Marshallville; niece, Jody (Lon) Smith; other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
