Karen M. Mullett

UNIONTOWN – Karen M. Mullett, age 87, passed away on March 27, 2026.

Born on January 31, 1939 in Orrville, OH to the late Fred and Clementine (Caulderhead) Peters, she was a 1957 graduate of Dalton High School and a resident of the Uniontown / Mogadore area for the past 9 years, previously of Doylestown.  Karen retired from Haramis & Roe Accounting after many years of service and was previously with Roy Butchee and Assoc.  After her retirement, she continued on with her own tax consulting business in Doylestown and also during that retirement period, Karen had the pleasure of traveling to many destinations.  She had been a member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church and later in her life the Mogadore United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl; son, Jeff; sister, Shirley Walton; brothers, Tom (Barbara) Peters, Keith Peters, and Roger Peters.  She is survived by her children, Julie Lasky (Tim Harland) of Akron, Craig (Lisa) Mullett of Green; grandchildren, Michelle Lasky (Kevin Carns) of Jacksonville, FL, Jared Mullett of Green, Brianna (Nick) Goodman of Orem, UT, Casey Mullett of Green; great grandchildren, Korben, Vera, Mason, and Madilyn “Maddie”; brother, Terry (Nancy) Peters of Garrettsville, OH; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 12 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Dave Haydu, officiating.  A private inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
