Kathleen Louise Jones

DOYLESTOWN – Kathleen L. Jones, age 72, passed away on December 5, 2021.

Born on October 27, 1949 in Barberton, OH to the late Robert and Marilyn (Whitehead) Seifert, she was a resident of Doylestown since 1977. Kathleen worked for DCAA at Babcock and Wilcox in Barberton and was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Altar Society and Women of Grace with the Diocese of Cleveland.  She was an avid bike rider, riding throughout the United States and Europe, and loved to walk and hike.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother and sister, Raymond and Mary Grace Seifert.  Kathleen is survived by her husband of 48 years, John; son, Brian (Kimberly) Jones of Medina; daughters, Katie (Kirk) Sheets of Marshallville, Rebecca (Nils) Dafniet of Akron; grandchildren, Liam Jones, Alaina and Xavier Sheets, Dario Dafniet; brothers, Bob (Bobbie) Seifert of Akron, Mark (Carol) Seifert of Barberton, John Seifert of Doylestown; sisters, Judy (Tom) Ciccolini of Akron, Peggy (Bill) Misencik of Cuyahoga Falls, Joyce (Dennis) Johnson of Simpsonville, SC; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton Rd., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, celebrant.  Burial to take place at church cemetery.  Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
