Kellie A. Hamilton

DALTON – Kellie A. Hamilton, age 57, passed away on May 29, 2021.

Born on October 22, 1963 in Barberton, OH to Larry R. and Barbara Kay (Rounds) Jerin, she was a resident of Dalton for 20 years, previously of Orrville.  Having been an assistant manager for Wal-Mart for 20 years and recently the manager of Dollar Tree in Wooster, she was also the owner of Scentables Creations.  Kellie was active in Foster Care for over 20 years and loved to volunteer and help with fundraising for Relay for Life.

Preceded in death by her mother, Kay Jerin, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mark; sons, Matthew Hamilton (Jeremy Watkins) of Wooster, Joshua Hamilton of Huntsville, AL, Nicholas Hamilton of Dalton; daughter, Ashley Frum of Akron; grandchildren, Keaghan, Thackery, Lilliegh;  father, Larry Jerin of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Debie Lura of Lufkin, TX; brother, Dennis (Lora) Jerin of Glendale, AZ; grandmother, Dorothy Jerin of Green, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on June 19, 2021 at 5 p.m. at New Hope Chapel, 9460 Portage St., Massillon, OH, 44646 with Dr. Ken Morrison officiating.  Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron Children’s Medical Center, Wayne County Children's Services or to the family c/o Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E.
