Kenneth Henegar Obituary

DOYLESTOWN – Kenneth A. Henegar, age 82, passed away on October 25, 2023.

Born on June 3, 1941 in Akron, OH to the late Charles F. and Julia (Horvath) Henegar, Kenneth served in the 36th Artillery unit of the United States Army and worked for many years in computer services at Kent State University and Cuyahoga Community College. A lifelong softball player and golfer, he enjoyed all sports and was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He loved his Movie Theatre and having his friends and family over to watch movies. Kenneth was an audiophile, enjoying all kinds of music from classical to hard rock. He liked going for rides on his Harley Davidson, a gift that he got for himself for retirement, and he was very handy and a great mechanic. Kenneth especially loved cheering for his grandchildren in their games and he will be remembered for his huge bear hugs.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Crawford. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Henegar; children, Don (Mary) Henegar of Doylestown and Nancy (Mark) James of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Kenneth Henegar, Charles Henegar, Allison Henegar, Abigail Henegar, Anna Marie Henegar, Harrison James, and Hadley James; other family and friends.
