Kenneth Rooks

NORTON – Kenneth “Boo” Rooks, age 63, passed away on January 14, 2022.

Born on June 10, 1958 in Logan, WV to the late Eugene and Bonnie (Spears) Rooks, he was a resident of Norton for the past 10 years, previously of Nashville, TN. Ken had worked for Music City Packaging in Nashville, TN and was a self-taught guitar player and enjoyed music.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Adam “Dick,” Danny L., and Harry D. Rooks; brother-in-law, Johnny Damron. He is survived by his children, Eric (Sherri) Rooks, Melissa Ashby; grandchildren, Ethan, Mahaila, Audrianna, and Jordan; brothers, Robert Rooks (Linda Gross), Jackie Rooks; sisters, Jane Damron, Mary Darlene Hitchings; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
