Kenneth R. “Ken” Barlett
DOYLESTOWN – Kenneth R. “Ken” Barlett, age 74, passed away on May 23, 2025.
Born on August 12, 1950 in Wadsworth, OH to the late Leslie C. and Helen (Glider) Barlett, he was a resident of Doylestown for the past 42 years.  A florist by trade, he retired from Nela Florist in East Cleveland and had worked for various florists throughout the area.  Ken enjoyed being outside watching the animals and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Troy Barlett and Brandon Barlett. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary; children, Brian R.(Jeanette) Barlett of Wadsworth, Jamie (Scott) Weyand of Norton, Rachael (Emmanuel) Velasco of Doylestown, and Curtis Barlett of Coventry; grandchildren, Brenden, Bryden, Gabriella, and Ethan; daughter-in-law, Paula Barlett of Akron; sister, Marsha (David) Lull of AZ; numerous family and friends.
The family would like to thank Summa at Home Hospice and Doylestown Healthcare Center for their compassionate care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, Celebrant. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts.
