DOYLESTOWN – Larry D. Markley, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2021.
Born on November 8, 1942 in Wadsworth, OH to the late Forrest and Nora Markley, he was a resident of Doylestown for 45 years, previously of Wadsworth. Larry retired from the Akron Beacon Journal with 38 years of service and liked to golf.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Gage Markley; brothers, Roger and Forrest Markley; sister, Mary Ball. Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; son, Butch Markley of Sterling; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other family and friends.
