MARSHALLVILLE – Larry D. Stoll, age 84, went home to be with his Lord on September 25, 2023 surrounded by family.
Born on June 19, 1939 in Marshallville, OH to the late Granville “Bud” and Mary (Reed) Stoll, he was a life resident of Marshallville and had attended Smithville High School. Larry retired from Quality Castings and had been employed by Etling Windows, and Coppers in Orrville. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church, formerly with Reimer Road Baptist Church, and also the Marshallville Historical Society and the Magic Cruisers Car Club. Larry enjoyed NASCAR, spending time with his family, and supporting his sons go kart racing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Therese Stoll; grandson, Nathan Hughes; brothers, Richard and Don, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat; son, Ron (Trina) Stoll of Burton City; daughter, Melissa (Lance) Rennecker of Smithville; grandchildren, Brad (Rachael) Stoll, Katherine (Ben) Jackson, Ian Hughes; great grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Brexton, Isaac; sister, Janice (Bud) Maxwell of Marshallville; other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 700 Gates St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating. Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Marshallville. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service time Saturday, all at the church.
