DOYLESTOWN – Liam Xavier Whitworth, forever free of the evil King Rhabdo, ran into Jesus’ arms on May 4, 2025. At only 7 1/2 years old, Liam spent three of those years fighting cancer like a true warrior full of courage and bravery.
Born August 15, 2017 to Kyle G. and Breanna (Ramsey) Whitworth, he was a miracle even at birth that could light up any room he entered. Liam had an incredible heart for others and cared deeply for those around him. He never met a stranger and used his charisma to rise to Facebook and YouTube stardom which was one of his biggest dreams during his fight. Liam had an incredible knack for connecting with people and becoming friends with people all over the country, including his favorite NASCAR racer, Joey Logano, who Liam witnessed win one final race right before he passed.
Liam also loved being a gamer which he no doubt got from playing with his Dad. Liam loved Minecraft and Monopoly Go with his family even crossing off seeing the Minecraft movie from his bucket list near the end of his life. Liam’s bucket list that he was able to fulfill with close family and friends was full of his favorite things including trips to the beach, Disney World, and seeing the cherry blossom “biome” in Washington D.C. as well as activities such as putt putt golf, a fancy steak dinner at Ken Stewart’s, bowling, Top Golf, and a final trip to LegaSea Aquarium and Reptarium. Liam lived a lot of life in his seven years – a reminder to all to live life to the fullest while you can.
Liam leaves behind his small army of animals which he loved and cared for deeply. Liam considered himself a chicken farmer and was working on a new chicken coop for his beloved Princess Whiskers, a chick he raised from birth only to discover later that she was a rooster, but the name stuck. He also leaves behind his cats, Floyd and Meow, and beloved goats, Pandy and Teddy who are all sure to miss his antics and sass.
Liam is preceded in death by an infant sibling, Great Great Grandparents, Dwight “Paw Paw Sip” and Shirley Manley, cousins Cody Hines and Matthew Helmick, and his rescue chick Survivor.
Liam leaves behind his loving family including parents, Kyle and Breanna Whitworth, and his beloved baby sister Zoey. Also surviving are grandparents, Shawn and Paula Ramsey of Doylestown, Pat and Missey Whitworth of Applecreek; great grandparents, Ron and Kay Dannemiller of Doylestown, Bill and Doris Heugle of Doylestown, Leo and Sandy Whitworth of Millersburg, Donnie and Pamela Scheufler of Apple Creek; uncles Jacob (Emma) Ramsey, Cody (Alisha) Whitworth; aunt Harlie Whitworth; many cousins and other family and friends. Liam also leaves behind his best friend and fellow cancer fighter, Levi Buxman, who spent much of the last year fighting alongside Liam at Akron Children’s Hospital.
The Family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the doctors, nurses and other staff at Akron Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and Summa Medical Center for their care of Liam and their family over the last three years with many becoming close friends through the good, bad, and ugly.
Friends may call on the family Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 3-6PM at Crossroads Community Church, 700 Gates Street, Doylestown, Ohio 44230.
