Lillian E. Conkle

 DOYLESTOWN – Lillian E. Conkle, age 91, passed away on May 10, 2020.

Born on May 2, 1929 in Oradell, NJ to the late Edward and Mary (Whalen) Keating, she was a resident of Doylestown since 1985, previously of Marshallville.  A devoted mother to her children, she had worked in her younger years for the Diamond Match Co. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Doylestown American Legion Post #407 Ladies Auxiliary, and had served as a 4H adviser.  She loved to spend time with her family and work in her vegetable garden.

Preceded in death by her husband, George Jr. in 1979; sister, Mary J. Fausnight, she is survived by her sons, George of Navarre, Kurtis (Linda) of Marshallville, Richard (Linda) of Ashland, OH; daughters, Leslie (William) Close of Doylestown, Paula Conkle of Akron, Diane (Frank) Goodwill of Holmesville, OH, Trudi (Tim) Baker of Norton; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; special friends, Margie Pollock, and Betty Steiner, and her loving Fausnight family members.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Elara Caring Hospice, especially Tina Manthe, for their compassionate and loving care of Lillian.
