Lois J. Nedrow

DOYLESTOWN – Lois J. Nedrow, age 87, passed away on December 17, 2024.

Born on March 6, 1937 in Hunter, KY to the late Nelson and June (Clevenger) Tackett, she had been a resident of Doylestown and Orrville, OH, and of Clark County, KY. Lois was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business Administration. She retired from Goodwill Industries in Kentucky. She attended Emanuel United Church of Christ. Lois was a member of the Rogues Hollow Historical Society and was a Lioness in the Doylestown Lions Club. She enjoyed quilting and was a talented photographer whose work won contests and was published.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Fred Custer. Lois is survived by her children, Craig (Susan) Nedrow of Springfield, VA and Cheri Nemes of Doylestown; grandson, Paul Nemes; brother, Larry (Jane) Tackett of TN; sister, Donna Custer of Perrysville, OH, and other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230. Rev. Tom Gerstenlauer will officiate.  Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to service time.
