DOYLESTOWN – Lucille A. Dietry (Woyat), age 97, passed away at her home on July 28, 2021.
The second oldest of 14 children, Lucille was born on March 21, 1924 in Rittman to Albert and Hazel (Huff) Woyat. She was a resident of Doylestown for most of her life. A woman of abiding faith, she was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was an election poll worker for many years and had many dear friends in the local chapter of TOPS. She loved her family dearly and was happiest when spending time with them.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Larry (Jackie) of Wadsworth, Doris (Kevin) Kiser of Uniontown, JoAn (Hal) Nichols of Sylvania, Dennis (Patty) and Russell (Tina) of Doylestown; 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Bill) Tester of Lorain, Rosemary (Larry) Goodman of New Franklin; brothers, Ivan of Rittman, Kenneth (Cathy) of Somerville; brothers in-law, Dale Schmid and Jim Keck; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward, and in addition to her parents, sisters, Gladys Zimmerman, Martha Schmid, Irene Keck, Mildred Huth, Ruth Moore and Barbara Copley; brothers, Ira, Charles and Glen Woyat.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown.
