Marilyn Deetz Obituary

DALTON – Marilyn J. Deetz, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on May 14, 2021.

Born on August 10, 1927 in Dalton, OH, to the late William and Helen (Rees) Berg, she was a life resident and graduate of Dalton High School. Retiring from Westinghouse in Orrville after many years of service, she was a member of the Dalton Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing cards, and bingo.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Ramon Lintern; second husband, John Deetz; sons, Gary and Cameron Lintern; sisters, Phyllis Stutzman, Wanda Wilson; brothers, Raymond, and Jotham Berg, she is survived by her daughters, Toni Sommers of Dalton, OH, Pam Melhorn of Palm Coast, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
