Marjorie A. Chik

BARBERTON – Marjorie A. Chik, age 82, passed away on January 18, 2022.

Born on February 22, 1939 in Barberton to the late Stanley and Jenny (Zakraysek) Struckel, she was a life resident of the Barberton/Norton area.  Marjorie worked at Adjusta Post for many years and loved to be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son and daughter in-law, Joseph and Marjorie P. Chik and ex-husband, Joseph Chik. Marjorie is survived by her children, Yvonne (Lonnie) Murdock of Tallmadge, Joanne Chik of Barberton, Marcia (Mike) Suliks of New Franklin, Chris (Gordon) Cole of Green; grandchildren, Michael (Kalyn) Suliks, Brian Suliks, Jenny (Eric) Swiger, Lonnie (Sara) Murdock, Jack Cole, Ellie Cole, Kate Cole, Macey Chik, Lilly Chik; great grandchildren, Jared, Maren, Leighton and Sophia; brothers, Stan (Marsha) Struckel of Barberton, Rick (Kathy) Struckel of Waverly, OH; sister, Yvonne (Dave) Johnson of Doylestown; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown 44230.
