Mark J. Glaser

DOYLESTOWN – Mark J. Glaser, age 80, passed away on August 9, 2024.

Born in Lorain, OH to the late Charles J. and Mary C. (Dunnigan) Glaser, he was a resident of Doylestown for the past 32 years, previously of South Amherst, OH.  A veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army, Mark retired from B & B Music after many years and was previously with Lorain Music for 20 years.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church during his time in Doylestown and was with Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church while in South Amherst. His passion was trains of all scales, he loved spending time in his basement working on his HO scale set up.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Patrick; daughter, Eileen Glaser; brother-in-law, Dan Meredith.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia; children, Kenneth (Lisa) Glaser of Mogadore, Bridget (David) Barnes of Taylorsville, KY, Jean (Kevin) Smith of Vermilion, OH, Emily Leighliter of Wooster, Sarah (Steven) Nelisse of Uhrichsville, OH, Edward (Victoria) Glaser of Copley, OH; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Cris Glaser of Amherst, OH, Brian (Tracy) Glaser of FL, sister, Linda Meredith of Elyria, OH, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, Celebrant.  Inurnment with Military Honors to follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts.
