Marthalene "Marki" G. Tetzel

DOYLESTOWN - Marthalene G. “Marki” Tetzel, age 75,  passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2022.

Born on July 3, 1946 in Akron, OH to the late Mike and Hazel (Spangler) Tetzel, she was a resident of Chippewa Twp. for 33 years, previously of Akron. Marki was the "bra-burning" owner and operator of a commercial roofing company RoofCo for over 40 years, attended Barber College early on, and worked on a shrimp boat in Key West, FL. She attended Easton United Methodist Church and was an avid supporter of Donald Trump...TRUMP-TRAIN! She loved to sew blankets, travel, take train rides and scenic route road trips.  She always said her proudest accomplishments were her boys and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Mike Tetzel; sister, Hazel “Peg” Gromofsky, and her son’s father, Henry Effland.  She is survived by her sons, Mark (Charbea) Tetzel of Doylestown, Mike (Ashley) Tetzel of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Anderson and LyndiGray Tetzel; sister, Rosemary “Posie” Tetzel (fiancé, Don Trego); many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Calling hours will be held Saturday April 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., immediately followed by funeral services; both at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
