NAVARRE – Mildred J. “Millie” Henderson, age 84, passed away on November 11, 2022.
Born on August 10, 1938 in Akron, OH to the late Joseph and Mary (Gabler) Zoker, she was a graduate of Kenmore High School and member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Barberton. A resident of Navarre since 2004, previously of North Canton and Barberton, she had been a member, along with her husband Gene, of the Norton Grand Squares square dancing club, the Red Hat Society, and especially enjoyed meeting monthly with her high school classmates.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph “Gene” Henderson in 2010. She is survived by her sons, Joe (Holly) Henderson of Jackson Twp., Scott (Abby) of Sauk Centre, MN; grandchildren, Zane, Garen, Rafe, Sammy, Haddie; other family and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton, OH, 44203 with burial to take place at Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.
