DOYLESTOWN – Norbert John “Duke” Brinkman, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2021.
Born on April 2, 1954 in Hamilton, OH, he was the youngest son of Gregory S. and Mary Kathleen (Durbin) Brinkman. He has been a resident of Doylestown, Ohio since 1996. Duke retired from Tekfor where he worked as an engineer. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, loved music, playing bass guitar in two different bands. Duke coached wrestling at Chippewa HS and was an Olympic style weightlifter. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Christopher and Dave (Sherry) Brinkman; he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy; daughter, Sara (Gordon) Newberry of Magnetic Spring, OH; sons, Ben (Mary) Brinkman of Norton, Bruce (Heather) Brinkman of Walton, KY and 13 grandchildren; brother, Gregory “Sparky” Jr. of Hamilton, OH; sisters, Marie (Tom) Weable of Loveland, OH, Tina (Steve) Asher of Hamilton, OH; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A Catholic Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown 44230 with Fr. David Majikas, celebrant.
