Patricia E. Berkey

DOYLESTOWN – Patricia E. Berkey, age 72, passed away on March 24, 2023. Born in Wadsworth, OH on September 2, 1950 to the late Clark and Eileen (Thomas) Berkey, Pat had been a lifelong resident of the Wadsworth, Akron, and Copley areas. A 1968 graduate of Wadsworth High School, she had been employed by various companies in the food service industry. Pat had been a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ. As an animal lover, she had a passion for rescuing cats and in her younger days was involved in many equestrian activities.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Berkey; and brother-in-law, Carroll Vanik. Pat is survived by her sister, Susan Vanik; nephew, Lukas Berkey, both of Wadsworth; many cousins and other family.
