Patricia "Patty" M. Johns

DALTON – Patty M. Johns, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Born January 22, 1949 in Cleveland to the late Walter and Catherine (Hogan) Baisch, she had been a resident of Dalton since 1987, previously of Kidron. Patty had attended the University of Toledo and had served as director of Wayne County Board of Elections for over 30 years. A previous board member of the Wayne County Library, Patty loved to read, go shopping, and spend time on the boat with friends and family at Atwood Lake.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cathy (Dennis) Vogus. Patty is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terry Johns; son, Aaron Johns (Heather Iona) of Smithville; daughter, Amy Flinner of Orrville; grandchildren, Savannah, Keegan, and Emma; and sister, Pam (Robert “Woody”) Woodruff of Delaware.
