DOYLESTOWN - Paul David Petit, 70, entered into eternal rest on July 4th, 2026 after a period of declining health.
Paul was born August 15, 1955 to Elmer and Helen Petit and was a lifelong resident of Doylestown. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Sue, for 50 years and has 5 children and 13 grandchildren, who adored him. To our family, he was our rock and the foundation by which we learned the deep roots of our faith, how to be loving parents, put family first, and maintain a positive mental attitude. Paul was an avid sports fan from his youth, through college football at the University of Akron, to watching his children, and eventually his grandchildren, play sports. He had a career in industrial sales for over 40 years and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Paul devoted his free time to serving his parish at Sts Peter and Paul church. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, golfing, woodworking and fixing things we broke.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sue and children, Sara (Casey) Tester, Gabe (Brittany) Petit, Katlyn (Zach) Bush, Seth (Abby) Petit, and Hannah (Marko) Ayala and his grandchildren, Leina, Adrienne, Jackson, Norah, Everett, Billy, Max, Ayla, Reese, Leo, Daisy and Zuri. He is also survived by his siblings, Joan Lowe, Jane (Tom) Summers, Joe (Jacquie) Petit, Pam (Mike) Stevens, Terry (Patsy) Petit, Tim (Shelly) Petit and sister in laws, Carol Petit, Barb Aldrich and brother in law, John (Kathy) Aldrich. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Petit, brothers in law Jeff Aldrich and Bob Lowe, and granddaughter Avery Bush.
