Paul C. Racin

DOYLESTOWN – Paul C. Racin, age 73, passed away on November 2, 2022.

Born on May 25, 1949 in Barberton, OH to the late Charles “Chick” and Pauline (Kupec) Racin, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1971. Paul grew up in Clinton, Ohio  and was a 1967 graduate of Northwest High School. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. after 36 years of service, and was the proud owner of Church Coal, Firewood, and Mulch in Akron along with Paul’s Greenhouse, which he co-owned with his wife Marge.  Paul was a hard worker, an animal lover, taking in strays from the street, and a sport's enthusiast who loved watching his grandchildren play.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Scott Racin and sister, Judith Racin.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marge; son, Brian and wife, Diana of Wadsworth and their children Camryn and Ty Racin; other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Clinton Cemetery.  Calling hours will be on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
