Paul E. Roach

DOYLESTOWN – Paul E. Roach, age 92, passed away on June 6, 2023.

Born on November 12, 1930 in Marietta, OH to the late Harry and Lottie M. (Gregory) Roach, Paul was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army and later retired from Babcock and Wilcox as a supervisor in the nuclear equipment division after 42 years of service. Paul was a member of the Barberton First Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and a trustee for several years. He loved traveling with his wife and being outdoors working on his lawn and flower garden.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; sisters, Barbara, and Corinne; and brother, Larry. Paul is survived by his children, Nancy (Kerry) Morrison of Wadsworth, Diane (Phil) Reeves of Norton, and David (Carolynne) Roach of Hartville; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Pastor Russ Shreiner officiating. Burial with military honors to take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
