Phyllis S. Rastorfer

DOYLESTOWN – Phyllis S. Rastorfer, age 74, passed away on May 4, 2020.

Born on July 3, 1945 in Crum, WV to the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Evans) Pertee, she was a life resident of the Sterling/Doylestown area. Phyllis retired from Morton Salt after 30 years of service and was a member of the Doylestown American Legion Post #407 Ladies Auxiliary. She had a “green thumb” and loved to grow and raise flowers. She also enjoyed going gaming. Phyllis was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sr.; son, Richard “Dickie” Jr. (Wendy) Rastorfer; brother, James “Abby” Pertee; she is survived by her daughter, Shawnee (Bill) Downs of Doylestown; grandchildren, Richie, Ray and Rob Downs, Richard III (Brittany) Rastorfer, Chelsea (Brandon) Brodwolf, Kurtis Rastorfer; great grandchildren, Summer, Skylar, Zoey, Lila, Paxton, Declan, KC, Natalie; sisters, Elly Morris, Joyce (Jerry) Bowers; brothers, Leonard Jr. (Margaret), Jerry (Carolyn), Michael (Jan), Tommy, Bob Pertee; brother in-laws, Edwin “Cub” Rastorfer, James (Judy) Rastorfer; sister in-laws, Sally (Jim) Burnside, Rose (Robert) Frankhauser; numerous nieces, nephews and other family; special friend and companion, Ron Taylor; special friend, Laurie Swartz.

Private graveside service will be held by the family at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doylestown American Legion Post #407 Ladies Auxiliary, 49 Black Dr., Doylestown, OH 44230. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
