Raymond D. Roberts

ATWATER, OH – Raymond D. Roberts, age 84, passed away on November 2, 2023.

Born on April 26, 1939 in Barberton, OH to the late James and Ethel (Collins) Roberts, he was a resident of Atwater for 47 years.  Ray had retired from Babcock and Wilcox in Barberton and Stock Equipment as a welder.  He enjoyed riding snow mobiles, four wheelers, and maintaining his farm.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Roberts; brothers, Bruce (Kat), Howard, Jerry, and Bob (Beth).  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Linda; daughter, Diane Pusker of Mogadore; son, Donald (Priscilla) Roberts of Perry Twp.; grandchildren, Donald Roberts Jr., Deborah Roberts, Justin Roberts, Danielle Pusker; great grandson, Jake; sister, Nancy Jean Clair of NY; sister-in-law, Jean Roberts of Doylestown; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Chaplin David Harstine, officiating.  A private inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park will take place at a later date. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
