Ronald "Tony" Lindeman Obituary

DOYLESTOWN – Ronald E. “Tony” Lindeman, age 82, passed away on January 14, 2021.

Born on February 17, 1938 to Raymond and Maxine (Bradley) Lindeman, he was a life-long resident of Doylestown. A 1957 graduate of Chippewa High School, he was Captain of the Chippewa football team that was voted one of the "BEST EVER" by The Daily Record. Tony retired from East Ohio Gas Company in 1995 alongside two of his brothers. He was a member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church, volunteered with the Doylestown Food Cupboard, and served on the board of Public Affairs in Doylestown for many years. He was a GREAT man who lived a GREAT life. Every grandchild adored, admired, and loved him. They all wrote many papers about "PAPA T" in school when the topic was role model, who do you idolize, or who has done the most for you.

Preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Suzanne Lindeman; son in-law, Larry Stiles; brother in-law, Lee Musgrave; he is survived by his wife and soulmate of 59 years, Judy; children, Gary (Pat) of Wadsworth, Greg (Jamie), Brad (Jan), Diane Stiles all of Doylestown; six grandchildren, Morgan Stiles, Shelby (Kelly) Collins, Brittany (Darragh) Coates, Addison Lindeman, Gregory Braucher Lindeman, Payton Lindeman; a great granddaughter, Landyn Collins; step grandson, Bill (Roxanne) Long; twin brother, Don (Drema) of Doylestown; brothers, Jerry (Marlene), Terry (Nancy) all of Doylestown, Bill (Barbara) of Oregon, OH; sister, Mid Musgrave of Doylestown; numerous nieces, nephews, along with his extended family and all who knew and loved him. We all will miss this man who never sat still, would help anyone with anything at any time, he had a contagious laugh and mostly his charming smile we will all never forget. He coached for many years and loved many sports, including The Browns, Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame. Tony was a very special man to not only his family but his community. He will forever leave a long-lasting impact on everyone he came in contact with. Tony will be forever missed.
